Since starting in 2002 we have worked in 13 different Primary and Secondary schools serving in many different ways.
We are currently working with a number of schools and youth workers, going regularly into 4 Secondary schools and 1 Primary school to lead lunchtime clubs, an after-school club and some RE lessons. We, also, work with Kirklees Esteem Team, delivering sex and relationship lessons.
We are excited about the opportunities that we have been given and the positive response that we have had from schools, pupils, and staff.

Judith Mulligan, who works at Honley High School and has been involved with the Christian Union (Extreme) group there since it began 9 years ago, writes about Christian Union and the involvement of HSUP: -
“Christian Union has provided so many different activities over the years, drama, dance, songs, games, craft, film shows, challenges, mini Olympics, baking, prayer time and lots of bible passages. Over this last term we have been learning about famous Christians, how they became Christians and what they did to lead people to Christ.
“Christian Union is so grateful to Scripture Union for their support. They have provided so many wonderful helpers, some of which have gone on to be teachers, youth leaders, and parents. Without their dedicated help the group would not be running today. They supply the group with new material every week to entertain and teach the students about Christ.”
